If I had lived during the Civil War and was old enough to go to war, I would have joined the Confederacy. My whole family is from the South. I was born and pretty much raised there. I would have felt like a traitor if I joined the Union.
I don't think slavery is right, but I also think the North shouldn't have had any say in the matter. They didn't need slaves to survive. They did not need slaves to run their factories. And what would the slaves do once they were free? The North didn't need the slaves, so they decided that we didn't, either. This is why I would fight for the Confederates.

I want my first job to be in a respectable neighborhood with decent fellow employees. I think I would like to work in a greenhouse, watering and trimming plants. I like to watch things grow. But I will not wear a silly looking uniform. I wouldn't be caught dead dressed as a daisy or something like that.
My first house will probably be an apartment, but hopefully it will be in a nice neighborhood. I would like to live in a three bedroom bungalo. My bedroom would be done in dark blue and white. One of the guest bedrooms would be black and white. I think the other one would be dark green and white. The kitchen would be black and white and the living room would be dark blue and white. The bathrooms would be white.

I think all the little accidents in the world are reminders to be careful. tHese accidents are warnings that if we're not careful something more serious could happen. If we ignore this, we get a more serious warning, sometimes a life threatening one. If a family is taking one another for granted, tehy're put in a position where they risk losing a member of their family. Many people who get these warnings choose to ignore them. They'll just keep coming. And coming. And coming.

I think cartoon characters should not be allowed to smoke. I have seen Bugs Bunny and Chip 'N Dale cartoons when characters are smoking. What is a little kid going to think? His parents are telling him smoking is bad, but his favorite hero, smoking, could convince him otherwise.

I hate people who are late. I hate to be late. If I tell someone I'm going to be somewhere at a certain time, I'm usually there. Because I know one late person could stop a class, keep people from eating, or make someone miss something they want to see. Being late can really mess up your schedule, not to mention everyone else's. Sometimes you can miss something important, especially if you're late to class.

My dream car would be a dark blue convertible with white interior and an AM/FM stereo/tape player.
I would like to get a scholarship to a nice college with fairly high standards. Hopefully it will have nice dorm rooms and good (yet interesting) proffessors. I can't stand boring teachers. If I get the scholarship, my dad will buy me a car with the college money. I'm going to get that car. It may take a while, but I'm going to get it.

I think it is a good idea to be organized. Sloppy people are always late. Unorganized thinking can cause problems in your schoolwork and in normal life. Unorganized living can cause extreme problems at work. If you're not organized you'd better lock your things in a safe because you'll never find anything otherwise.
I try to be organized. I make lists and try to stick to them. I try to plan what to do, and when to do it. Things don't always work out. I try to plan a party. A guest shows up early and my whole schedule is thrown off. Being organized isn't easy.

I think television is a crime these days. The disgusting concepts go against everything parents tell their kids. What kindof idiot writes this stuff? I don't even know why they edit the movies they show on television. It's not any worse than what they show regularly. Is there no limit to waht they will put on TV? It's degrading to respectable people. What would you think if you were an ambassador from another country and you saw this slop? I wouldn't have a very good impression of this country.

People are always saying things aren't fair. I'm sick of being told life isn't fair. If life were fair, I would have been able to help decide whether or not I would get a new brother or sister. I would have been able to help choose a name. If I had known I was going to have a little brother, I would have chosen not to be born. If life were fair, people wouldn't be born handicapped. But then if life were fair it would probably be a lot more boring.
Most poeple have a fair chance at life. Very few people succeed. Many of them seem to give up and take the easy way out.

I think citizens should be more aware of police activity. Most people think cops don't have restrictions or certain procedures for different situations. To them police lead exciting lives full of shoot outs and bar fights. Some cops never even fire their guns. Police have to go through a *lot* of training. They can't fire on an unarmed suspect. As far as I know, they can't fire unless their life or the life of someone else is in danger.

I think there really is something in Loch Ness. Maybe not a monster, but something very like the pre-historic pleseosaur. There may be others similar in other lakes. The amount of evidence found is more than enough to convince me. The thing that bugs me if they find more than three they may dissect one "for the good of the species." How can it be good for a species that was supposedly nonexistant to kill one?

I will always look at moving as a way to start over. New school, new friends. A chance to make a new impression. A better impression. I love to move. I just hate switching schools in midyear. The courses are different, and I can get behind. It drives me nuts.

I read a story a few days ago that distressed me. It was about the future. People went to a museum just to see a real tree. That really scared me. The thing is, we seem to be headed in that direction. Are we that destructive?
I may decide to write a book. It will probably be about a girl who decides to do something about the polution. I don't know. I probably won't.
I just heard about a guy who shot another guy in a fight over a girl. I would hate to know I caused the death of another human being. I feel so sorry for her. What is the world coming to? I can't write anymore. I'm getting depressed.
